Something's Simmering2On May 17, we took part in a great event – “Something’s Simmering…” – sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women – Cleveland Section. This event was to support a great organization called Live Special, which provides information to access support services for families of children and adult children with special needs. Proceeds from Something’s Simmering will support the LiveSpecial.com website set to be completed Summer 2012.

The teams of the Something’s Simmering fundraiser actually got to cook with a local celebrity chef; we had the great pleasure of working with Chef Brian Goodman, chef partner at The Greenhouse Tavern. He was a great teacher, and we were very lucky to get the honor to cook with this very talented chef. We made grilled rainbow trout with grilled asparagus and spinach salad with a yogurt dill sauce. It was fantastic, and that is not just our opinion either…it actually won the People’s Choice Award!!
