Zinner & Co. to Play FETCH! This Friday

by | 13 Jan | Firm news

Zinner & Co. is proud to be participating in the FETCH! – Financial Education Teaches Children Healthy Habits® – program for the 6th year on Friday, November 16.

Created and implemented by The Ohio CPA Foundation in 2010 – and formerly known as Accounting for Kids Day for several years – FETCH! teaches 5th & 6th grade children about budgeting, saving and spending through a fun and interactive board game. Through teamwork, strategy and competition, FETCH! teaches children important financial concepts that are the foundation of a healthy financial future.

The program has already reached nearly 20,000 students in over 780 elementary classrooms statewide. Feedback from teachers, students and volunteers has been extremely positive, with nearly 100% of teachers last year planning to participate again in this year’s event. Members of our firm will be helping out in a 5th grade classroom at Brecksville Central School.

Everyone at Zinner & Co. is very excited to help advance financial literacy education in Ohio’s elementary schools and look forward to a continuing participation in this great event for many years to come.
