Kass completes term as President of the Cleveland/Akron Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals

In June, Zinner & Co. Partner Howard J. Kass, CPA, AEP®, CGMA, finished his one-year term as president of the Cleveland/Akron Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (CAFSP).

A CAFSP member since 2010, Kass was thankful for the support he received from the organization’s officers and board members during his term.

Kass, CPA, AEP®, CGMA, finished his one-year term as president of the Cleveland/Akron Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (CAFSP).“I can’t thank my fellow officers and board members enough for all they did in supporting me and the organization throughout my presidency,” he said. “In addition, the work of our Executive Director and Managing Director, Kim Camillo and Bob Hronek, have been and continue to be paramount to the success of the CAFSP.”

CAFSP is an organization of credentialed professionals from various financial disciplines bound together to pursue knowledge, uphold high ethical standards and form meaningful relationships with their peers.

Kass values the networking and educational opportunities available to the organization’s members.

“The opportunity to connect with and learn from my fellow members, who represent a wide variety of allied professional disciplines, truly makes the Society of Financial Service Professionals one of the most valuable organizations I have had the honor of associating with,” he said. “Seeing and experiencing the different points of view that professionals from different disciplines have has definitely helped me to grow and better serve my clients with a much wider global perspective.”

Before serving as president, Kass held the role of CAFSP secretary/treasurer in 2015 and vice president/president elect in 2016. He will serve this year as the immediate past president and will chair the nominating committee.

When Kass first joined the SFSP, he was involved in the membership and education committees and became a member of the board of directors in 2013.
