by | 18 Nov | Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, Robin Baum, Sue Krantz, Zinner & Co., Zinner News

Cleveland Jewish News recently named Zinner & Co. Partner Susan Krantz, CPA, CGMA, one of 18 Difference Makers for 2022.

Krantz joined Zinner & Co. in 1990 and was named a partner in 1999. She possesses over 30 years of experience in audit and assurance.

“She is a bright light in our community,” said Zinner & Co. Managing Partner Robin L. Baum, CPA. “Her commitment to the non-profit community goes far beyond her professional expertise. She commits her time and talent to many organizations such as the Rape Crisis Center, the United Way of Greater Cleveland and the Epilepsy Association.”

For the past eight years, CJN has celebrated individuals who have devoted themselves to bettering the community and the world throughout the preceding year. These individuals make the communities where they live and work better.

Amongst this year’s class of Difference Makers are individuals who devoted time and energy to secular and religious education and others who dedicated time to ensure underprivileged groups have the support and resources needed by distributing food and clothing. The list also includes honorees who worked tirelessly to provide healthcare to community members, individuals who raised money to fight cancer, those who sought to make the world a kinder place with the belief that doing so will provide a bridge between differences and reduce polarization in our nation and other who offered free legal counsel to nonprofits throughout the region and worked to bring business to the area.

“She is a fearless supporter working to help organizations in the community receive the highest levels of financial support through governmental funding and other grant programs,” Baum noted about Krantz. “In addition, she provides leadership in chairing committee work that impacts fundraising and programmatic efforts.

“This level of leadership and commitment is also demonstrated daily in working with Zinner & Co.’s clients and staff. She is a team player who will always highlight the underserved and underdeveloped, striving to provide the highest opportunity for all to participate and prosper. I am lucky to call Susan Krantz my business partner and friend,” Baum added.

The 2022 class will be featured in the Cleveland Jewish News’ Dec. 9 issue and will be honored at an awards gala on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at Park Synagogue East, located at 27500 Shaker Blvd. in Pepper Pike.

Zinner & Co. congratulates Krantz on this honor and lauds her for her passion, dedication, determination and hard work, as she continues to give back to the commuinty.
