Zinner & Co. Names Brett W. Neate as Partner

brett_w_neate_bio_picFollowing several staff promotions during a recent year-end Firm address, Managing Partner Robin Baum announced the appointment of Brett W. Neate, CPA, M.Tax, to Partner.

Neate, who has been with the firm for ten years, has successfully worked with high net worth individuals and multi-generational family owned businesses with tax planning, compliance, and audit resolution in the areas of federal, state, and local taxation. He has experience in many different industries including real estate, manufacturing, distribution, and professional service companies. In addition to tax services, he provides business advisory services to help his client base achieve their financial goals and prosper.

As a partner, he will lead our client service initiatives, develop the staff through innovative practices and continue to strengthen the firm profile to achieve its next wave of growth.” said Baum. 

Brett received his Masters of Taxation from the University of Akron and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Club of Cleveland. Brett_at_desk_2.jpg

He successfully completed the Emerging Leaders Academy, a three-year program within the Upstream Academy Network that proactively prepares dedicated individuals in the accounting field for future firm leadership positions. Brett is also a member of The Muldoon Partners, WIRE-Net, the Holden Arboretum’s Emergent Leaders.
