Tax Internship

About the Internship

The successful student intern will typically begin in February and participate in a one week, hands-on training program with other intern.

The internship typically ends around April 15th. The primary focus will be the preparation of individual income tax returns. If time allows, the student will be exposed to additional work, such as:

  • Special projects involving our consulting department;
  • Assisting with audits, compilations and reviews;
  • Preparation of trust income tax returns;
  • Performing the compilation of business information in advance of preparation of a business tax return.

  • Conscientious and detail oriented
  • The ability to learn from the tax reviewer's comments that instruct changes on a drafted tax return
  • The ability to multi-task
  • The willingness to ask questions for clarification
  • The willingness to accept a variety of assignments
