Blog & Newsroom

This week we launched the second annual “Zinner’s Maddening March Tournament Challenge.” Thankfully we’ve had a better turn out this year than last. We had a handful people participate last year and there are at least 25 people involved this year. Progress is good. You think it has anything to do with the cash price? The first and second place winners will make out nicely. Hopefully, there are no IRS agents out there surfing the web trying to find some additional tax revenue that are reading this.

Most people either picked The Ohio State University or Kansas to win. It’s interesting, everyone seems to have a different method to filling out their brackets, but in the end the more thought you put into it the worse you probably do. It’s always the person that picks a team based on their mascot that wins and if that’s the case, BYU should be a winner. How can you not like Cosmo the Cougar from BYU? He breakdances.

In any event, more people are involved and seem to be having fun and a little camaraderie is always good. The competition makes the games a little bit more interesting to watch. Speaking of which, we’re going to watch the first Ohio State game during our Annual Wine & Cheese Event. Hopefully all goes well, and the combination of wine, cheese and an Ohio State win doesn’t lead to unruly accountants turning over cars in the streets. Then again, it’s called March Madness for a reason.
