Zinner & Co. is pleased to sponsor and support our long-time client, The Cleveland Play House, and their 2018 Festival of Trees. This year’s event marks the 19th consecutive year that The Cleveland Play House has hosted its Festival of Trees.

Zinner & Co. is pleased to continue its support and sponsorship of the Magic of Lights_TM, being held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, Ohio now through December 31st.

For over 6 years, Zinner & Co. has committed its support to the mission of one of our clients, Michelle’s Wish Foundation.

Zinner & Co. was pleased to sponsor the 27th Annual Epilepsy Association Gala on Friday, November 9, 2018. This year’s event was held at The Westin Cleveland Downtown and featured a night of entertainment that benefited the Epilepsy Association and the important work they do relating to epilepsy research and treatment.

Zinner & Co. is pleased to share that we will celebrate our 80th anniversary this month. Founded in 1938 by Harry Zinner, as a solo practitioner providing bookkeeping services, Zinner & Co. has grown into a full service accounting and management consulting firm with a staff of approximately 40 people.

On July 24, Zinner & Co. honored Gabe Adler, CPA, CGMA, Partner and Howard Kass, CPA, CGMA, AEP, Partner, for their nearly 90 combined years of public accounting experience with a retirement party at Acacia Clubhouse in Lyndhurst.

Both Adler and Kass graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1971 and 47 years later, they are both retiring after successful careers.

“In today’s world, it’s almost unheard of to have that kind of longevity in a single field and most notably, together in the same firm for the last 19 years,” said Zinner & Co. Managing Partner Robin Baum, CPA.

Zinner & Co. LLP Partner Susan Krantz, CPA, CGMA, was honored with a prestigious Rainmaker award as the Nonprofit Certified Public Accountant (CPA) member of the year.

Presented during the Rainmaker Companies’ annual SuperConference, held in Indianapolis from May 31 through June 2, the award is given annually to a member best described as someone who is a constant source of value to other members. Other criteria include an individual who engages in group activities and contributes to the success of the alliance through leadership, collaboration and the sharing of resources and best practices.

Zinner & Co. is a proud title sponsor of the Cleveland Play House production of “The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” which runs now through May 6 at the Allen Theater.

Sponsoring this Tony Award-winning musical, is just one of the many ways Zinner & Co. gives back to the community and helps advance the strong performing arts culture found within Northeast Ohio.

A touching and cheeky coming-of-age comedy with a vivacious, improvised spelling bee, this production is a treat for all ages, as “Spelling Bee” focuses on six middle-school students, who take part in a cutthroat, high-stakes competition to prove they have what it takes to be worthy of a shot at "Nationals."

Effective June 1^st 2018 Zinner & Co. will officially adopt Intuit’s Quickbooks Discontinuation policy. If you are using Quickbooks version 2015 or older, you will need to upgrade to maintain compliance. This policy will maintain support for the three most recent versions of Intuit Quickbooks. The annual drop date for the oldest product version is May 31^st. Intuit’s current “Disco” policy states:
