Zinner & Co. is pleased to continue its support and sponsorship of the Magic of LightsTM, being held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, Ohio now through December 31st.

For over 6 years, Zinner & Co. has committed its support to the mission of one of our clients, Michelle’s Wish Foundation.

Zinner & Co. was pleased to sponsor the 27th Annual Epilepsy Association Gala on Friday, November 9, 2018. This year’s event was held at The Westin Cleveland Downtown and featured a night of entertainment that benefited the Epilepsy Association and the important work they do relating to epilepsy research and treatment.

Zinner & Co. is pleased to share that we will celebrate our 80th anniversary this month. Founded in 1938 by Harry Zinner, as a solo practitioner providing bookkeeping services, Zinner & Co. has grown into a full service accounting and management consulting firm with a staff of approximately 40 people.

On July 24, Zinner & Co. honored Gabe Adler, CPA, CGMA, Partner and Howard Kass, CPA, CGMA, AEP, Partner, for their nearly 90 combined years of public accounting experience with a retirement party at Acacia Clubhouse in Lyndhurst.

Both Adler and Kass graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1971 and 47 years later, they are both retiring after successful careers.

“In today’s world, it’s almost unheard of to have that kind of longevity in a single field and most notably, together in the same firm for the last 19 years,” said Zinner & Co. Managing Partner Robin Baum, CPA.

Zinner & Co. LLP Partner Susan Krantz, CPA, CGMA, was honored with a prestigious Rainmaker award as the Nonprofit Certified Public Accountant (CPA) member of the year.

Presented during the Rainmaker Companies’ annual SuperConference, held in Indianapolis from May 31 through June 2, the award is given annually to a member best described as someone who is a constant source of value to other members. Other criteria include an individual who engages in group activities and contributes to the success of the alliance through leadership, collaboration and the sharing of resources and best practices.

The Western Reserve Historical Society was the perfect setting for the Smart Business Magazine Business Longevity Awards celebration held August 3.

The firm, along with 43 other regional companies, were lauded for 50+, 75+, or 100+ years in business. “We’re thrilled to again be recognized by Smart Business Magazine for our 79 years in business and more so, that we are able to serve clients, many who are multi-generational, with solid, sustainable, and practical accounting, tax, and consulting services,” said Brett Neate, CPA, Partner.

Partner Sue Krantz and Audit & Assurance Manager Chris Valponi were just two of the many folks who attended the opening of Land Studio’s “Dialogue” in the Eastman Reading Garden at the Cleveland Public Library.

From wacky tie day to a hilariously difficult spelling bee, CPAinting to “dress as a Partner,” the Zinner team shared wit and wisdom during the firm’s annual United Way of Greater Cleveland fundraising campaign.

“We are fortunate that the Zinner staff are inherently caring, giving folks. As long-time supporters of the United Way and the people, programs, and organizations they serve, it was our pleasure to find meaningful ways to not only raise funds, but also raise awareness for the work they do,” said Sue Krantz, partner.
