Prestigious Award for Zinner Managing Partner

Robin Baum of Zinner & Co.Zinner & Co. LLP. would like to recognize our esteemed Managing Partner Robin L. Baum, CPA, as a recipient of the 2012 Alumni Medal, the highest honor awarded annually by the Alumni Association of her alma mater, John Carroll University.

Representing the class of ’87, Robin is one of four alumni being recognized for accomplishments in their profession, exemplary family and personal lives, contributions to their community and dedication to John Carroll University, thereby reflecting well upon JCU’s educational efforts, moral principles and philosophical tenets.

A Cleveland native, Robin received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from JCU and has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs and the JCU President’s Council, where she has participated in the Planned Giving Committee work as well as campus speaking engagements.

Robin was also recognized in 2003 as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” by Crain’s Cleveland Business, the same year she became Zinner & Co.’s third managing partner in its 74-year history. She has chaired the Corporate Committee of the Catholic Charities Annual Appeal and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Rainbow Babies and Children’s Foundation and the Jesuit Retreat House.

Nominees for the 2012 Alumni Medal were submitted by the JCU community to a committee of former presidents of the Alumni Association. This committee selected Robin, who will be recognized at the annual Alumni Medal Recognition Dinner on May 18 and again at Commencement on May 20.
