This Is Our Shot

Zinner & Co. is proud to be a part of the Coalition to Stop The Spread, an initiative that recognizes the risk COVID-19 poses to Ohio’s economy.

The business community, including members of our Coalition, continue to be part of the solution by disseminating facts and positive encouragement regarding the complete reopening of the economy.

As a member of this organization, Zinner & Co. urges all of our employees, clients and the general public to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

The tens of millions of vaccinated Americans are leading us forward. But it is going to take many more than that to get us back to where we want to be.

Our nation’s and Ohio’s vaccination programs have increased supply dramatically and made the vaccines more accessible than ever before.

In March, after many weeks of Ohioans becoming increasingly eligible for the vaccine, the age requirement dropped down to 16 years of age. This means the entire adult population is able to schedule their appointments.

Optimism is on the rise, as we have seen the trajectory of case declines begin to level out and we have seen a predictable increase in cases following a period of spring breaks and warmer weather.

We all know what is at stake here, as we have been talking about it for a year.

During this time, Ohioans have shown what we can accomplish if we all dedicate to the cause, to protecting our families, neighbors and coworkers.

Contrary to just 12 months ago, we can see light at the end of the tunnel.

We must continue to be smart and protective when in public, in the workplace or around those at higher risk. Perhaps most importantly, being smart and being proactive means getting your COVID-19 vaccination.

The authorized vaccines are safe and incredibly effective at protecting us from getting COVID-19, but most importantly keeping us all out of hospitals or worse. Vaccines continue to be carefully evaluated by health and medical experts, and serious side-effects have shown to be extremely rare.

This is our shot.

It is our chance to return to what we love and miss dearly – family, friends, outings, events, sports, travel and so much more.

Do not miss your shot at helping end this pandemic.
