Whether you are talking about tax planning, business succession planning, or estate planning, we always tell our clients there is no time like the present to start.
This was exactly the focus of a recent article in the Cleveland Jewish News – “Never too early to begin estate planning” – featuring Zinner & Co. Tax Manager Ken Sable.
“Typically we deal with clients in their 30s, 40s and 50s, and when we mention estate planning, they cringe a little bit,” Ken told CJN’s Ed Wittenberg. “They say, ‘I’m not ready to think about that because I’m not going to die soon,’ but that’s not the case at all.”
Throughout the article, Ken states the different stages of estate planning and states that the best time to meet with an attorney to begin is when people in the mid-20s or early 30s are married and having their first child.
