Zinner CPAs talk Business Money-Management

Zinner & Co.’s Howard J. Kass, CPA, and Joe Ramey, CPA, will be speaking on February 25 at a meeting of the Cleveland Digital Publishing Users Group (CDPUG), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and professional development of those in the graphic arts and digital publishing industries.

The meeting topic will be “Going Green in Your Business; Money, That Is. How to Effectively Track and Manage the Money in Your Business.”

Howard, who is president of CDPUG and the tax partner at Zinner, will speak on “Money Management Basics for Your Business,” taking entrepreneurs through the basics of business money management. He will cover a variety of topics, including business bank accounts, credit cards, setting prices, billing and collections.

Joe, who is an Accounting, Auditing and Tax Service manager at Zinner, will speak about online accounting software, providing an overview of the pros and cons of using online accounting software in today’s business environment, as well as everyone’s need and desire to be mobile. The presentation will also review two online accounting software packages that offer solid potential solutions for small businesses.

The February 22nd CDPUG meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Dodd Camera & Video, 2077 East 30th Street in downtown Cleveland. Cost is $10 for non-members and free for members.
