Zinner’s Kass Heads Digital Publishing Nonprofit

by | 13 Jan | Firm news

Howard J. Kass, CPA, Zinner & Co. partner specializing in tax services, has been elected the 2010 president of the Cleveland Digital Publishing Users Group (CDPUG), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and professional development of digital publishers.

The group also serves as a professional association for those working in the graphics arts industries.

Founded in 1988 to help educate northeast Ohio professionals interested in desktop publishing, CDPUG today assists the area’s top graphics and publishing professionals with education, news, technical support, networking and professional development.

The organization hosts monthly meetings, special interest groups, seminars and design competitions, and it creates electronic and print publications and much more.

Under Howard’s leadership, CDPUG will continue meeting its mission through presenting topics that “run the gamut.” These include presentations such as “The Google Chronicles: CDPUG Edition,” which focuses on the aspects of Google that are of interest to graphic designers and small businesses; Online Accounting Software, which provides an overview of the pros and cons of using online accounting software in today’s business environment, and InDesign CS4, which covers new features and techniques to simplify and speed production.

Please join Howard and CDPUG for continuing professional development in an organization where beginners and advanced users share knowledge and experience; to do so, please visit the CDPUG Web site at www.cdpug.org.
