WOMEN IN LAW: FOOD FIGHT

WOMEN IN LAW: FOOD FIGHT

Last night was one of the most excited and nervous I have felt in a long time! As a CPA, I am used to stressful deadlines, but I rarely fear the threat of personal injury. A paper cut is at the top of my danger list, and it can seriously ruin my day. But, staring through the glass wall into the beautiful commercial-grade kitchen at Cleveland’s next hot spot, Pura Vida located in downtown’s historic May Co. building, I realized that I would soon be surrounded by flames and sharp knives as I competed with my teammates against some of Cleveland’s finest lawyers and professionals. 2nd Annual Bake Sale to Benefit the Geauga County Humane Society

2nd Annual Bake Sale to Benefit the Geauga County Humane Society

Posted by: Mary Ann Mezacapa

Zinner’s Courtney Ockenden rounded up our lovers of baking to support their passion for our furry friends to host our 2nd Annual Bake Sale on Monday, August 29th.

Courtney’s enthusiasm for the Organization is contagious!  Thanks to the commitment of our coworkers and their families, the bake sale offered a tremendous array of delicious and beautifully presented homemade treats.

With the support of the Zinner staff, our clients, service providers, friends and family, we once again raised over $400, contributed directly to the Geauga County Humane Society.

The bake sale is held in conjunction with the upcoming Woofstock 2011 Annual Dog Walk and Family Festival for Pets and their People.

Below is a fundraising page that Courtney initiated that you are welcome to join, donate, or forward to anyone whom you feel might be interested. Woofstock this year will be held on September 11th at the Holden Arboretum. Please see the website for more information.

Ask the Expert: Should I Take the Educational Tax Breaks or My Child?

Who should take the educational tax breaks, me or my child? That’s a great question! The answer is: It depends. The first question should be: Is the student a dependent? If you claim the student as a dependent, you should take the credits and deductions. That may...

8 Keys for a Faster Year-End Close
